I don’t always agree with Mr. Simon (often, but not always) but I like his take on Clint Eastwood after last night’s Oscars:
Has Clint just gotten started? His mother's 96. What genes. This victory for this incredible man has one simple message: never think about retiring.
The amazing thing about Million Dollar Baby is that it was made in 37 days. Some people wouldn't make the movie if offered only that much time.

Saw Million Dollar Baby Friday night. Go see it – it’s not what you think. Swank was absolutely terrific and any chance I get to see Morgan Freeman, I do it. Can Eastwood get any better? I don’t know but he sure seems to.
